Call for abstracts
Abstract submission is now closed.
The New York City Epidemiology Forum invites the submission of abstracts for consideration for poster, oral or flash science presentations at our sixth annual conference. The purpose of the conference is to exchange knowledge regarding epidemiological studies performed in and around the New York City area, to stimulate discussion and to encourage collaboration between institutions.
Oral presentations will be 10 minutes with 5 minutes of questions. A flash science presentation is a brief (3 minutes maximum) oral presentation with a corresponding poster on display during the conference. Flash science presentations provide you with the unique opportunity to present an overview of your work in a clear, concise way and attract the attention of a large number of conference participants to visit your poster and engage in longer discussion about your work.
Abstracts will be reviewed by members of the Scientific Committee. Preference will be given to abstracts which include results (preliminary or final) and have not been published (presentation elsewhere is acceptable). We will also consider abstracts of work in progress.
Structured abstracts should be no longer than 450 words, excluding title, authors and affiliations. Use Times New Roman typeface with a font size of 11 and 1.5 line spacing. Abstracts should be submitted in Word format (.doc or .docx) by January 7, 2019 (EST) at midnight.
All submissions should include:
Authors (presenter indicated with an asterisk)
Affiliation (with e-mail address of the presenter)
